Camera problems
No camera image
Some cameras may not be supported by all operating systems. We recommend using one of our recommended camera models for best results.
Make sure you have the latest camera drivers installed, either from the included software or the camera manufacturer’s website.
Basic Camera Troubleshooting:
In JasminCam, make sure you select the correct camera device. Avoid using a splitter if possible.
Plug the camera into a different USB port, preferably one directly on the back of the computer (not through a USB hub).
If issues persist, reinstall JasminCam.

Slow camera image
A slow or lagging camera is usually caused by connection issues or high system load. Try the following steps:
1. Check Your Internet Connection:
Make sure your connection meets the minimum requirements.
Always use a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability.
If needed, review the connection speed section of the guide.
2. Check CPU and Memory Usage:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Go to the Performance tab and check CPU and memory usage.
If either is above 80%, it can affect camera performance.
Close unnecessary applications and browser tabs to free up resources.
3. Adjust Camera Settings:
In the Logitech software, disable features like “Follow My Face”, “RightLight”, or “Low Light Compensation”.
High processing features can slow down your camera and reduce frame rate.

No audio
With certain cameras, the camera’s microphone can be muted by a remote controller. Check if it is not accidentally pressed.
Check the audio input selection on JasminCam’s log in panel, under Advanced settings.
- Open JasminCam, but do not log in.
- When you are at the login screen, click on the Advanced settings button.
- The select the correct Audio Device, which is your camera’s device in most cases.
If you cannot find your microphone in JasminCam, ensure that the device is enabled and the volume is not too low in the Sound Settings in Windows.
- Look for a speaker icon on your taskbar (at the bottom right corner of the screen), right click it, then select Sound Settings.
2. Once you open the Sound Settings, go to System > Sound and select your preferred recording device.
Connection speed
To broadcast in HD/FHD quality, a strong and stable internet connection is essential.
Minimum required speed:
Upload: 1.5 Mbps (1500 kbps)
Download: 2.0 Mbps (2000 kbps)
Recommended speed:
Upload: 4.5 Mbps (4500 kbps)
Download: 5.0 Mbps (5000 kbps)
Important Tips for a Stable Connection:
Use a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability.
Allow JasminCam through your antivirus and firewall. (See the Firewall and Antivirus applications section for details.)
Disable any VPN or proxy software, as these can slow down or disrupt your connection.
Close bandwidth-heavy programs like YouTube, streaming services, torrents, or large downloads while using JasminCam.
How to Check Your Connection:
Use our official SPEEDTEST tool to measure your connection directly to our servers. (Note: Other speed test sites are not accepted.)
After running the test, compare your results to our recommended speeds.
If both upload and download consistently meet or exceed the recommendation, your connection is sufficient for a Good video rating.
If you plan to stream music or videos at the same time, you will need even faster internet speeds to avoid impacting JasminCam’s quality.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Restart your router or modem.
If possible, connect the internet cable directly to your computer (bypassing the router).
Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if issues persist.
Windows Update
Many issues can be caused by missing Windows updates. Here’s how to make sure your system is updated:

In the list, find Windows Update.
Right-click it, select Properties.
Set the Startup type to Automatic and click Apply.
