What do I need to perform on LiveJasmin.com?
We are happy to welcome you to our LiveJasmin community. As a starter, let us introduce what you need to go online and stream on the site. Once you registered as a Model, all you need is a good quality web camera, a computer and an internet connection to start. However, for the perfect streaming quality, the right equipment is crucial. The better grade camera, stronger computer and faster connection you have, the higher quality your stream will be, which in turn will result in more satisfied visitors and higher earnings for you.
Once you have the equipment, you will be able to go online via our own JasminCam streaming application and start your show right away.
Below you can see the technical requirements for our JasminCam application. With the minimum requirements you can run the software with a stable image quality, while with the recommended specifications you can stream at a much higher quality which is one of the requirements for the Good Appearance rating. (The browser version of JasminCam should only be used as a temporary backup if the standalone JasminCam software is unavailable.)
We strongly recommend using a desktop PC with ethernet cable connection, instead of a laptop (or notebook) for your work because of performance and heat issues. Notebooks will often downgrade performance in order to prevent heat damage. Furthermore a desktop PC will most likely provide you a wider range of possibilities for future hardware upgrades.
Using MacBook Air is not recommended for online streaming as it’s specifications do not meet the site’s requirements and has no proper Ethernet cable port available, which would be needed for a stable internet connection.
Minimum required specifications
- Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit, Mac OS X 12.3 or above. All with latest and all updates installed.

Intel 9th generation (or newer generation) Core i5 @ 3.0GHz or a better Intel CPU with Intel QuickSync Video available
- You may find the list of QuickSync processors here.
- 1.60GHz or higher base frequency is required. (Even if the Turbo frequency is 3.00GHz or higher)
- In case you don’t have a dedicated video-card (GPU), the integrated graphics card (IGPU) should always be under power. Plugging your screen’s cable into the motherboard display-slot will ensure this.
- Latest Intel Graphics driver must be installed.
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (or newer generation)
- 1.60GHz or higher base frequency is required. (Even if the Turbo frequency is 3.00GHz or higher)
- In case you don’t have a dedicated video-card (GPU), the integrated graphics card (IGPU) should always be under power. Plugging your screen’s cable into the motherboard display-slot will ensure this.

Recommended computer
The 1280x720p and 1920×1080 resolutions are visible in the software in case you have the necessary dedicated video card or an Intel processor with integrated video card that supports hardware encoding. In case the resolution is not visible in the software upon start up, you may need to check the following:
- Check and make sure that you have the latest JasminCam installed! FHD resolution will be available only in the latest version of JasminCam.
- Ensure that your computer’s processor is an Intel CPU with Intel QuickSync Video available or that you have an Nvidia (that support NVENC encoding) or AMD (that supports VCE/VCN encoding) graphics card. Your camera should also meet the recommended specifications of our site. Without this hardware, the HD resolution will not appear in JasminCam.
- Download and install the latest graphics drivers. Make sure they are running constantly.
- In case you are using an Intel processor for hardware encoding:
- You can find and download the latest versions from here.
- You can see if the Graphics Driver is running by checking the bottom right corner of your taskbar. If you see the blue Intel Graphics icon, it is running:
- In case you are using an Intel processor for hardware encoding:
- INTEL Driver & Support Assistant – Install the this tool to get driver and software updates for most of your Intel hardware.
- Once downloaded, run the .exe file to install Intel Driver and Support Assistant.
- If the application installation completes, click the tray icon, and choose Check for new drivers.
- The app can also be started from the Windows Start menu by typing or selecting Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to find and launch by clicking on the icon.
- Note that an active internet connection is required.
- The utility now opens in your default web browser. On the page, you should see any available driver updates, along with other information about your PC, such as BIOS, processor details, motherboard information, etc.
- Please check the appropriate boxes confirming your consent to proceed with the update and then click Download all to download all available updates.
- Once downloaded, click the Install all button to commence with the installation.
In case you wish to stream using a dedicated video card you may use an Nvida or AMD card that supports a certain type of video encoding. For these, you will not necessarily need to have an Intel processor.
Ensure that the selected graphics card is under power. Plugging your computer screen’s cable into the necessary card’s slot will put it under power.
- In case you are using a dedicated Nvidia graphics card you will need one with NVENC encoding available. Do note that not all Nvidia cards come with such encoding.
- See the list of NVENC cards here.
- Use the card’s own software to keep the drivers up to date:
- Download from here: GeForce Experience
- For NVidia cards, the minimum version number of driver is: 456.71
- Or visit their website and search for your card’s specific driver from their downloads list.
- Use the card’s own software to keep the drivers up to date:
Automatic update with Nvidia GeForce Experience
- Download and Install Nvidia GeForce Experience.
- Launch the program after the installation has been completed.
- Click the “Check for updates” button if GeForce Experience hasn’t checked recently. Go to the Drivers tab in the top right corner of the app.
- Click “Download” next to the update.
- Choose your installation type. The Express Installation option should be fine for most users. Advanced users can choose the Custom option.
