To give your viewers the best possible experience—and to boost your earnings—you need a stable, high-quality stream. These technical requirements help you:
- Avoid lag, freezing, or low-quality video
- Look your best on camera
- Qualify for the Good Video rating (which brings more visibility and Members!)
- Meet the Jasmin Selection requirements, where a Good Video rating is one of the key criteria

🛠️ Minimum requirements
- These are the bare minimum to start streaming with JasminCam. You’ll be able to go live, but for better quality and more
viewers, see the Recommended setup below.
💻 System
Operating System:
- Windows 10 64-bit (MinVersion=10.0.16299)
- macOS 13.4 or higher
- Up to date OS version, since updated systems are more stable and secure
Processor:
- Intel Core i5, 6th generation or newer (2.5GHz or higher)
- Intel QuickSync Video support recommended
RAM:
- 4 GB minimum
Storage:
- At least 1GB free space
🌐 Internet
- Upload speed: 1.5 Mbps minimum (international)
- Download speed: 2.0 Mbps minimum
- Connection type: Wired Ethernet connection
🧰 Recommended setup (for Full HD streaming)
- If you want 1080p streaming, smoother performance, and the chance to earn more, use this setup. It helps you stand out
and unlock better visibility.

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit (MinVersion=10.0.16299) or macOS 13.4+
- Screen Resolution: Minimum 1920×1080
- Processor:
- Intel Core i5, 9th generation or newer with QuickSync
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G / Ryzen 7 5700G or newer
- Base frequency ≥ 1.6GHz
Graphics:
- Dedicated GPU with hardware encoding:
- Nvidia (NVENC)
- AMD (VCE/VCN)
- Or integrated GPU (Intel/AMD) with encoding enabled
- Dedicated GPU with hardware encoding:
- RAM: 8 GB or more (dual channel recommended)
🌐 Internet
- Upload speed: 6 Mbps or more (international)
- Download speed: 10 Mbps or more
- Connection type: Wired Ethernet connection
- For Macs without Ethernet, use an Apple USB Ethernet Adapter
📸 Camera setup
- Resolution: 1920×1080 (Full HD)
- Frame rate: 30 FPS or higher
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
🚫 Not supported
- AMD Oland-series GPUs (no encoding support)
- Radeon GPUs without H.264 encoding (e.g., RX 6500 XT, Radeon 520–620)
- Filters, watermarks, or appearance-altering effects
🧪 Setup tips
📷 Camera not detected in JasminCam
Go to: Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera
- Enable: “Allow apps to access your camera”
🎙️ Microphone not detected
- Go to: Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone
- Enable: “Allow apps to access your microphone”
📏 App UI Cut Off on Screen
- Use 1920×1080 screen resolution
- Lower scaling under: Display Settings > Scale and Layout
🛠️ Driver & hardware support
Intel QuickSync
Ensure screen is connected to the motherboard (not GPU) if using integrated graphics
- Use Intel Driver & Support Assistant to install the latest drivers
Nvidia NVENC
Check GPU model: NVENC support list
- Use GeForce Experience or manual install via Nvidia’s website
- Minimum driver version: 456.71
AMD VCE/VCN
Use AMD cards that support VCE encoding, not older than 5 years old.
